Patricia A. Sizer Schenk, 81, of Lisbon, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014. Services are Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Lisbon United Methodist Church by Reverend Thomas Mattson. Visitation is Friday, December 26, 2014 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Choices, Mount Vernon. Burial Lisbon Cemetery. Surviving Pat are her children: Deb (Bill) Werderman of Mount Vernon, Dani (Jeff) Chapin of Lisbon, Diane Burnside of Cedar Rapids, and David Schenk of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren: Amos, Sara, Nicholas, Allison, and Zakary; great-grandchildren: Nolan, Wylie, Mallie, Teagan, Colten, Kayden, Beaudyn, Gracyn, and Kamryn. She is also survived by two brothers: Bud (Joan) Sizer and Tim (Coleen) Sizer; a sister-in-law Charlotte Schenk; and nieces and nephews. Preceding Pat in death are her parents, husband Buddy, son-in-law Dick, great-granddaughter Teresa, brother-in-law Gerald; and sister-in-law Lin. Pat was born May 12, 1933 to Harry and Faye Gardner Sizer at the Gardner House in Lisbon. She graduated from Lisbon High School and married Buddy Schenk in 1951. Pat worked at the Lisbon Post Office for many years until retirement. She was a member of Lisbon United Methodist Church. Pat enjoyed quilting, sewing, and playing cards with long time friends. She also enjoyed traveling, reading, and gardening. Pat was an avid fan of her familys activities. She was very active in the community, and she was loved and will be missed by those who knew her.   1. I’m so sorry for your loss. Pat was one special lady and a fun traveler….I can still hear her laugh when she would get tickled. We had so many good times on our trips.
