Mary C. Showalter, 76, of 826 16th St. SE, Cedar Rapids, died Monday, March 2, 2009, at St. Luke Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a short illness. Memorial Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Christopher Podhajsky Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Survivors include her husband, Gerald; and 7 children, Greg Showalter and John Showalter, both of Ottumwa, Jeff Showalter of Riverside, Yvonne Deraad of New York, Kathleen Showalter of Seattle, Washington, Claudette Showalter of Iowa City, and James Showalter of Cedar Rapids.
