Lydia B. Fregoso, 72, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021, at home. A Private Family Burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, is caring for Lydia and her family.
Lydia Benita Gonzalez was born September 3, 1948 to Guadalupe and Florence Benita (Rodriguez) Gonzalez.
Survivors include her children, Salvador 'Ray', Maria, Mario, Jose, and Juan (Meaghan) Fregoso; grandchildren, Jonathan, Adrian, David, Ashley, and Heaven, Ariel, Mario Jr., Amber, and Joselynn, Anthony, Alea, and Alanna, and Delilah and Johnny; mother, Florence Lona; sister, Corrine Hinojosa; close and caring relative, Lupe Lona; nieces and nephews, Rueben, Reynaldo, Renee, Becky, and Rodrick; and many cousins and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Guadalupe Gonzalez; and father, Guadalupe Lona.
