Thank you Diane. He was our hero. Miss you!!
Square D was extended family for many of us that worked together for decades. John was one of those guys that loved to laugh, play tricks on co-workers and greeted you with a smile. The Square D Softball team that began 40 + years ago was a fun bunch and Cleanne’s awesome chicken as they hosted the team for the Sauerkraut Days tournament was some of our best memories of those days. Even though we haven’t seen him much since we all have retired he will be sadly missed.
Loved seeing dork come in to Gwen’s for breakfast all the time!! Always brought a smile to my face!!
Love Dork ❤️
Cut Joe’s hair for many years, Always enjoyed talking with him. Fishing or the latest gossip in town!😁
He always gave a big smile and a big hug, he was a gentle loving soul!
My condolences to all.
Hi this is Sandy Neal Williams. Joe’s cousin. I loved going to Margaret and John’s house because Shirley and Kate were my only girl cousins. Joe was always in the way while we tried to do “girl things”. I grew up with 5 brothers. Hence going to their house was fun. Losing someone you love is not easy. I know because we lost our son last year. There is nothing I can say to you that will make it better or give you comfort. I only hope that memories will help you through your grieving process.
I was Joe’s insurance agent for many years. He was both a client and friend. Joe always had a smile and a joke or two when he came in. A great guy, he will be missed by all. My condolences to his family.
