Guestbook

  1. We are deeply sorry for your loss ~ Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services – Cedar Rapids

  2. Jerry was my boss at linn mar. He was well liked by all the drivers. Later I got to spend some time with Jerry at the rec center. I never knew until then that he was from Manchester.

  3. Our La La Ladies(Audrey, Ina and Lori) always lived singing for and along with Jerry. He was always such a wonderful addition at Promise House. He will be missed but will be welcomed in the Father’s House🙏🏻❤️

  4. We had the most fun with Jerry at the Rockwell Rec Center! When we’d get done exercising, we’d sit at “our table” and chat and indulge in some “forbidden fruit” 😁 Jerry made the best rhubarb frosted cookies! We not only had fun at the Center, but visited other places for more fun!! He was such an easy going guy! May God rest his soul with Lynda! ❤️ Shirley Cox and the rest of the Rockwell Gang

  5. Jerry always sat at the head of our “family table” at the rec center. He was a great friend and mentor to all. His was a life well-lived. Jerry was one -of-a-kind. Knowing him, made your life a little better. Rest in peace dear friend. Jon and Nancy Stahl

  6. My mother, Kay Redlich, was a resident at Promise House while Jerry was there. He always warmly greeted me when I’d go to visit her, and was a bright presence. I remember seeing the bulletin board postings congratulating Jerry on the hundreds of laps he’d done around the hallways. Mom said he liked to gently tease the ladies, and offer help with chairs, etc.
Though I didn’t know him well, I’ll remember him fondly.

  7. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.
