Herb was born in Howell County, Missouri, on January 3, 1942. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He then spent years pouring concrete before starting Herb Drymon Trucking, Inc. in 1999. Herb was a devoted husband to Rita (Zaruba), his wife of 39 years. Herb loved spending time with his family. For the past eleven years, summers were spent camping in Monticello.
Herb is survived by his wife, Rita; sons, Mike (Penny) of Scotch Grove, Matt (Michelle) of Colorado, Jerry (Kari) of Nebraska, and Jason Drymon of Viola; grandchildren, Raya (Dylan) McGuire, Angel, Loren, Cody, Gabe, Shae, Avery, and Gabby Drymon; great-granddaughter, Fionna; and siblings, Willard Drymon and Susie (Ryan) Knight.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, June Donnan and Clifford Drymon.
Didn’t know Herb well, but he was always kind to our family. When we first moved into town and didn’t know a soul, he stepped in and did us a very helpful favor. Sad to hear about his passing. Our condolences to the Drymon and Zaruba families.
