Evelyn L. Reiland, 90, of Marion, passed away on December 10, 2009, at Crestview Acres Care Center, Marion. Services: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2009, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Marion, by Pastor Ron Thatcher. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial: Tipton Masonic Cemetery, Tipton, Iowa. She is survived by two daughters, Jo Ellen Becker Cox, and husband, Jerry Cox, of Olive Branch, Mississippi, and Donna Rae Becker Carpenter, and husband, John Carpenter, Jr., of Hastings, Michigan; six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; a half brother, John Benson; and a half sister, Ramona Benson Smith. Evelyn was born April 2, 1919, in Tipton, Iowa. She was married to Stanley Becker for 28 years and to Robert Reiland for 17 years. Her greatest accomplishment was owning and operating Pines Rest Home for 14 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cora Werling Benson; and her husband, Stanley Becker.
