Cleanne Louise Craven Woods

Cleanne Louise Craven Woods 63 of Lisbon, died Saturday, January 17, 2009, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, due to complications from pneumonia. Services 11:00 a.m., Saturday at Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon Chapel by Celebrant Mary Morgan. Visitation will be Friday, from 5:00 until 7:30 p.m., at the chapel. Private graveside services will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Lisbon, at a later date. Cleanne is survived by her husband of 32 years John, daughters: Shelanne Gibbs and fianc Terry Stephenson, Center Point, Deanne (Brett) Murray, Denver, Iowa, and Joanne Hartnett, Coggon, and a step daughter Wendy (Mat) Skildum, Hanover Park, Illinois, mother and step father Helen (Dewey) Burrows, Des Moines, Iowa, ten grandchildren: Danielle, Camiellia, C.J. Gibbs, and Natascha, Matt and Alex Stephenson, April and Breanna Murray, Cody and Michael Hartnett, Logan, Jared and Venessa Skildum, a great granddaughter Alexendria Holm, and a sister-in-law Shirley (Leo) Simmons. Cleanne is also survived by her siblings: Michael, Kay, Jodie, Sheila, David, and Jeff, and her four legged friend Newby. Preceding Cleanne in death were her father Cleo Craven, a son J.J. Woods, and a sister in law Sharon Kay Wolvers. Cleanne was born January 13, 1946 in Cedar Rapids. She was employed at Square D, for 39 years, retiring in 2008 as a shipping and receiving clerk, and was a member of I.A.M. Union Local #841, Cedar Rapids. Cleanne was an avid Nascar fan and especially fond of Tony Stewart. Spending time with her husband and her four legged friend Newby and traveling to the river boats.   1. To the Family of Cleanne, Slick and I were deeply sadden to hear that Cleanne had passed away. Please know that we will continue to have you all in our thoughts and prayers. Joe, Slick and I have wonderful memories of the both of you and will continue to think of you during this difficult time. All the great memories from many days at the bowling alley will always be in both of our hearts. Although we have only seen you in passing the last few years seems just like yesterday we were at the bowling alley having a great time. We will hold those memories with us….. My parents (Elaine and Mil) were good friends with Cleannes Mother and step dad. quite a few years ago. They had many fun times with them and the kids. As did I Sharon, Elaine and Mil’s daughter.
